International Education

Our Master of Arts (MA) in International Education Management is one of the top graduate programs for education administration. We prepare you for leadership careers in higher education, education abroad, international student and scholar services, language programs, citizen diplomacy programs, and government agencies. 

This three-semester, 43-credit master’s degree is for people committed to supporting others as they forge meaningful connections across cultures and nations. Gain the practical experience and advanced management skills you need to launch your career in international education.

You will work closely with professors and international education organizations on real-world consulting projects, including marketing, recruiting, program design, and assessment.

Education Management and Leadership

The Middlebury Institute is a graduate school that prepares you to lead in addressing critical issues like education.

We not only expose you to key literature in the field but we give you immersive learning opportunities to gain deeper perspectives of international education and to practice language and intercultural skills. In your third and final semester, supported by your faculty and peers, you will gain professional experience through a four- to six-month practicum in the U.S. or abroad.
